Latest Pictures as of 12-4-08
Now that we have been moved into our house for a little over a month, we’ve had many requests for updated pictures and “what’s the latest”. So…..without further ado……
Last night Craig was fixing up some of his famous cream cheese and of course…..Bailey was his taste tester : )
Living Room - just a few more things to hang on the wall, pieces of furniture and we are done……
Dining Room – kind of the staging area of things to hang on the walls.
Kitchen – just had our stove and microwave plumbed and installed yesterday. Craig’s brilliant idea for our pantry which we both love. A few more things to do and we are all set!
Master Bedroom – a few more pictures (Maxfield Parrish) to hang on the walls, a larger dresser and nightstands and this room will be done.
Second Bedroom (aka….Holly’s Office, Guest Bedroom, Craig’s Dressing Room) – eventually we want to get a futon and different desk for me and still hang a few pictures. My assistant, Bailey taking a doggy nap while I’m working : )
Bathroom – we have a very cool pedestal sink we are going to replace in here and put up a small wall cabinet then the bathroom is done.
Basement - Craig’s office. Eventually we’ll do some painting and sprucing up down here for him, for now this functions and as you can see, he can spread out : )
Basement – Media Room. We’ve got this set up to watch movies and actually watched about 1-2 per week. We don’t get TV reception and don’t have cable – since we never watch TV, this is totally cool with us. The bolts of fabric laying against the wall by the TV are the “theatre panels”. These panels will be hung from the ceiling to enclose the “room” and provide a “theatre type feeling”. As you can see, Bailey has her “seat/bed” at the front of the TV, while Craig and I have our comfy chairs also.
Basement – Storage and Laundry Room. For now the storage area is a staging location to unpack and organize boxes. One section is “For Sale”, another “Permenant Storage” and another “Clothing”. Lots of things change here. We got our washer and dryer installed and just need to add the pedestals below them. They work great and no more trips to the laundry mat!
We’ve been working on completing the fence so Bailey can roam about the cabin freely. As you can see, she loves her backyard.

Other panel and side gate. The “dirt” between the wooden gate and brick wall will be the hottub pad which we’ll complete next Spring. We are loving the hottub and using it daily.
Craig is mixing up concrete to stabilize the 4x4 holding this panel. We’ll put in one more panel and 3 types of gates. This should complete the fencing and Bailey will have a full yard to roam free in. When we build a 2nd garage, we’ll be taking “part” of the fencing and replacing it with garage.
