June 27 - 30, 2018: McCall, Idaho
The first stop in our adventure is McCall, Idaho. It is close to home and gives us a chance to iron out some of the kinks with the truck, trailer, and how we are packed.
Of course on our way to McCall, we stopped for the day in Donnelly, Idaho to golf 18 holes at Jug Mountain Ranch, one of our favorites courses!

Once in McCall, we boondocked at our friends Chad and Tracy's place. We nicknamed it the Faaborg RV Perch because it sits on the top of a mountain hill with incredible views!

We played 18 holes at McCall Golf Club, playing 9 on Aspen and 9 on Cedar. Great course, great terrain, and scenery. As you can see there is a lot of wildlife on the course, this momma had two fawns this Spring which we saw again on a later hole. They have the perfect setup of manicured lawns, ponds, and friendly people trying not to hit them with their golf balls : )

We took a few hours one day to repack the inside and outside of the trailer. Now that we've spent a few nights/ days in the trailer we realized that we need to reorganize. I am sure this will not be the last time we repack.
We rode our bicycles into town a few times and were able to avoid stopping at our two favorite places, Stacy Cakes and Ice Cream Alley. - both amazing dessert places!
And...we had to finish our stay with dinner at Chad and Tracy's and a little target practice beforehand.
Thank You Chad and Tracy for hosting us!!!
